Ms. Shikha Upadhyay is an accomplished professional specializing in Digital Forensics and Cyber Security, bringing over 5 years of extensive experience to her academic and professional roles. She served as the Cyber Subject Head/Mentor in her previous position, showcasing exemplary leadership and mentorship skills.

As a dedicated academician, Ms. Upadhyay actively contributes to the academic community by serving as a Board of Studies (BoS) & Board of Examination (BoE) Panel Member in other universities, where she also acts as an External Examiner. She has helped framing new syllabus and course according to NEP in University. Her noteworthy achievements include the Shri Baljeet Shastri Award from Former Chief Justice of India Dipak Mishra, the Best of Scholar award, and Gold Medals in both B.Sc. and M.Sc. She has also been honored with the Emerging Scientist Award.

Her professional journey encompasses over 4.2 years in the role of Assistant Professor in a Deemed University in Bangalore. Ms. Upadhyay holds a 6-month training laboratory experience at FSL, Lucknow, and CFSL, CBI, New Delhi, highlighting her hands-on proficiency. In industry roles as a freelance technical trainer, Junior Data Scientist, and consultant, she demonstrates a commitment to both academia and industry. As a trainer, she has provided training to various professionals, including government officials. Engaging in diverse projects, she has demonstrated practical expertise. Prior to pursuing her master's degree, she contributed 1 year as a website developer and designer in a project-based role, showcasing proficiency in C++, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. Currently, she continues her freelancing activities.

Beyond academia, her involvement in diverse projects includes the development of a Bank FAQs Chatbot, predictive models, Malware analysis, and the application of AI and Machine Learning in forensic contexts. Holding more than 20 technical certifications in Computer Science disciplines, covering areas like ethical hacking, Certified SOC Analyst, Machine and deep learning, Python from IBM, Incident Management Response, her expertise is recognized.

In addition to her academic contributions, she has actively participated in faculty development programs, conferences, and webinars. She has held positions as a technical head and coordinator in numerous seminars, webinars, and conferences, contributing to their successful organization.

Her commitment to mentorship is evident in her guidance for more than 25 students at UG and PG levels in Digital Forensics and Information Security, involving dissertation and funded projects. She has published papers in reputed journals. With her multifaceted background, industry collaborations, research contributions, and mentorship, Ms. Shikha Upadhyay emerges as a valuable asset in shaping the evolving landscape of Digital Forensics and Cyber Security.
