Empowering Minds through Enriching Sessions

We are thrilled to announce the successful conclusion of yet another enlightening and engaging session at the Lloyd Institute of Forensic Science (LIFS). As part of our pioneering "Forensic Science Law & Practical Certificate Course," we organized a session that delved into the intricacies of the 'The Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985'.

The inaugural session of this highly informative and transformative course, titled "Examination, Issues and Challenges Practical Exercise Forensic Chemistry & Drug Analysis," took place on October 7th, 2023, and was attended by the BA.LL.B. (2019-2024) and LL.B. (2021-2024) batches.

Dr. Amar Pal Singh, Assistant Director (Chemistry) at the Forensic Science Laboratory, Delhi, shared his expertise with our students, shedding light on the scientific specifications, characteristic features, and practical challenges associated with drug analysis.

This session proved to be exceptionally engaging, fostering interactive discussions and the exchange of interdisciplinary knowledge. It offered a unique perspective on the intersection of Forensic Chemistry and its application in understanding the NDPS Act, 1985. The knowledge gained during this session was not only illuminating but also thought-provoking for our students.
