On May 4, 2023, the students of Lloyd Institute of Forensic Science, led by Prof. (Dr.) Amarnath Mishra, the Head of the Institution, were granted a unique and prestigious opportunity. They visited the renowned Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL) within the Directorate of Forensic Science Services (DFSS), under the Ministry of Home Affairs, in New Delhi, India. CFSL, New Delhi, is equipped with the most advanced analytical instruments and state-of-the-art facilities in the nation.

During their visit, our students had the privilege of meeting the heads of various divisions within the CFSL, including Questioned Documents, Fingerprints, Physics, Audio-Video, Ballistics, Psychology, Toxicology, and DNA. These distinguished experts provided an illuminating introduction and detailed explanations regarding the range of cutting-edge equipment and services available at the laboratory.

This visit not only offered our students invaluable insights into the vital work conducted at the Central Forensic Science Laboratory but also served as an inspiration for them to appreciate and engage in real-life fieldwork experiences.
