Lloyd Institute of Forensic Science (NFSU Affiliated) organized an educational visit to an autopsy facility on 17th April 2026 as part of students’ practical training in forensic medicine and death investigation.

The visit offered first hand exposure to post-mortem procedures, including external and internal examinations, organ analysis, and systematic collection of biological samples for toxicological and histological testing. Students also observed injury documentation, determination of cause and manner of death, and the vital role of autopsy findings in medicolegal cases.

This immersive experience effectively bridged the gap between theory and practice, reinforcing the importance of precision, ethics, and attention to detail in forensic investigations.
