Mr. Sarveshttham Kumar is a seasoned professional with over a decade of invaluable experience in the field of forensic science. Currently holding the position of Assistant Director and serving as the Divisional Incharge of the Toxicology Section at the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL), CID, Home (POLICE) in Bhagalpur, Bihar, he has demonstrated his expertise in a diverse range of responsibilities. Managing a broad jurisdiction comprising two zones and four ranges encompassing sixteen districts, Mr. Kumar has played a pivotal role in establishing regional and mobile Forensic Units as well as FSLs. His professional repertoire extends to handling legal matters of crime cases in both High Court and Session Lower Courts, where he is known for his meticulous attention to detail. Beyond his day-to-day responsibilities, Mr. Kumar assumes the role of a Representative Officer in high-stake HQ Meetings, liaising with esteemed officials such as the DGP, ADGP/CID, DM, DIG, SSP, and SP. He displays commendable leadership skills while simultaneously holding multiple vital positions, including Building Incharge, Purchasing Committee Member, Office Head Incharge, Account CFMS HRMS Checker, and overseeing finance, treasury, and instrumentation. His role as Security Incharge and Crime Scene PO Incharge underlines his dedication to maintaining the utmost professionalism in the field. Prior to his current role, Mr. Kumar served as a Senior Scientific Officer, achieving the title of Junior Forensic Assistant and Chemical Examiner - Reporting Officer, certified and recommended by an NABL team. During his tenure, he reported on over 280 cases in a relatively short period, exemplifying his dedication and exceptional forensic skills. His journey in forensic science began with stints as a Personal Assistant to Smt. Deepa Verma, Director of FSL and former DD of FSL-I/C Doc. Div., further solidifying his foundation in the field. Mr. Kumar's academic pursuits are equally commendable, with a diploma in Photo, Law, and Cyber (Computer), and he is currently pursuing a Certificate Course in Human Rights from UP RT Open University, Allahabad, U.P. His commitment to continued learning and professional development is a testament to his dedication to the field of forensic science.
