- Bachelor of Science with subjects in Chemistry, Botany, Agro-Chemicals & Pest Control from Delhi University.
- Certificate course in Forensic Science from the Anthropology Department at Delhi University.
- Master of Science (Forensic Science) from Dr. H. S. Gaur University, Sagar, M.P.
- LLB from Delhi University.
- PhD in Forensic Sciences from Amity Institute of Forensic Sciences, Amity University, Noida, U.P.

- Second position at the university level in his graduation.
- First position at the university level in post-graduation.
- The recipient of a gold medal in MSc (Forensic Science).
- Amar Pal Singh has passed the UGC NET/JRF twice.
