Admissions for the following programs for the Academic Year 2025–26 will be conducted through a centralized process by the Centralized Admission Process (NFAT) constituted by the University:

  • B.Sc + M.Sc in Forensic Science (Integrated Program)
  • M.Sc in Forensic Science
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Fingerprint Science
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Forensic Document Examination

About the National Forensic Admission Test (NFAT)

The National Forensic Admission Test (NFAT) is a computer-based entrance examination conducted by the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) for admissions into its undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma programs in forensic science and related disciplines. The test evaluates candidates' knowledge and aptitude in core forensic science areas.

Key Features of the Admission Process:

  • Centralized Online Application Portal for student registration.
  • Detailed information about Affiliated Institutes will be available on the official University website.
  • Candidates who have already applied to NFSU Campuses will be given the option to prioritize affiliated institutes during the admission process.

Step-by-Step Admission Procedure:

  • Visit the NFSU Admission Portal and complete the online registration.
  • Log in and fill in your profile, including personal and contact details, and upload scanned copies of required documents.
  • Select your program of interest (e.g., B.Sc + M.Sc in Forensic Science) and choose your preferred campus and NFAT exam center.
  • Enter your academic details, including qualifications and marks obtained.
  • Pay the application fee using the online payment gateway.
  • Review your application carefully for accuracy.
  • Submit the form and download a copy for future reference.
  • Receive a confirmation email and SMS upon successful submission.
  • Appear for the NFAT exam on the assigned date and time.
  • The computer-based exam will cover topics from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology at the 10+2 level.
  • Results will be announced, followed by the publication of merit lists based on NFAT scores.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be invited for counseling and document verification.
